Title: “Intimate 🔛 Exchange”

Scripture: Proverbs 3:16-18

Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who hold her fast.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Wisdom. When you intertwine with the Holy Spirit you lack nothing. Through wisdom you rest securely and will be given understanding of what to do and when to do it. Pursue the Spirit of Wisdom as your highest pursuit. Invite Wisdom to take hold of you as you seek to take hold of Him.

Application: What will I do about it?

Prayerful presence is the pursuit. Many are prayerless and wonder why they lack presence. Presence comes through communion with the Spirit. Communion requires communication. The only reason we are allowed to communicate with the Holy Spirit is because Jesus destroyed the powers of darkness and made a way for communication and communion. (A definition of communion: The sharing or exchanging of intimate thoughts and feelings.)

Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for making a way to commune with God. Call us into a closer relationship and cause us to get better about exchanging intimate thoughts and feelings with You. Amen!
