Title: “Protect the Seeds”

Scripture: Matthew 13:23

Jesus said, “And the one on whom seed was sown on good soil, this is the man who hears the word and understands it; who indeed bears fruit, and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty.”

Observation: What is God saying to me?

I have called you to be good soil. Release the worries and cares of this life. Don’t let anxiety choke out the seed I have sown in you. Allow your heart to soften in My presence and plant yourself with other believers who will challenge and encourage you to run your race to win. When you root in My presence, your life will produce good fruit that multiplies upon itself. Don’t settle for something less than good soil. Bear fruit in keeping with repentance.

Application: What will I do about it?

Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and in due time He will lift you up. Stand in His presence. When worries come along, imagine Him standing next to you instructing, guiding and helping you through your situation. You are not alone, when you invite him into your life, He never leaves you nor forsakes you. Do your best to never leave nor forsake Him through humbly standing in repentance.

Prayer:

God, You are holy, worthy, mighty and marvelous. Instruct us in how to guard the seeds you have sown in us. Like tender sprouts just coming up from the ground they must be guarded in order to stay alive and grounded. Holy Spirit, help us in Jesus’ name.
