Title: “CERTAIN 💯”

Scripture:

'No, I will not break my promise; I will not take back a single word I said. I have sworn an oath to David, and in my holiness I cannot lie: His dynasty will go on forever; his kingdom will endure as the sun. It will be as eternal as the moon, my faithful witness in the sky!” – Psalms 89:34-37

Observation: What is God saying to me?

If I said it, then believe it! If I said it, you can count on it. Sometimes you question what I said because you are uncertain if I am the one who said it.
Certainty of the sound of My voice is something that is forged through faith over time, track record and increased trust.

Application: What will I do about it?

Here are some ingredients I need to know to be CERTAIN that it’s God who is speaking to me…

Forged through FAITH: Faith is the muscle of CERTAINTY that gets stronger with use and being put to the test. Tests Build 🆙 Trust!
Over Time: This is not an instant process, like a good cake it takes time to bake. 🎂 Even if you have all the ingredients you still have to put them together and bake the cake.
Track Record: When you start to see a pattern form then your CERTAINTY will increase. → I thought I received a promise → this is what it felt like when I received the promise → then the promise was fulfilled → With each promise delivered I become more CERTAIN.💯
Increased Trust: All of this boils down to greater and greater levels of trust. When you have seen it time and time again your trust levels rise to levels of CERTAINTY that no circumstance can cause you to doubt.

If He said… We believe it! He’s the God who always keeps His word.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for faithfully keeping Your promises. Help us to increase in certainty every time we hear Your voice. Teach us what Your voice sounds like and help us to interact intimately and immediately when You speak. In Jesus’ name…amen!
