Neal’s Lit Word

Title: “Receive and Relay”

Scripture: Hebrews 4:7

"Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts."

Observation: What is God saying to me?

A hardened heart ♥ ️ and a stubborn head are the path of destruction.
When you hear My voice, turn and face the music. Though sometimes you don’t want to do what I am asking, the end result of your obedience is blessing and a tender heart. My voice is like water to hardened ground, soak it up, take it in and allow the water to break up the hardened ground. When the soil of your heart is ready, then God will plant seeds that will lead to a beautiful harvest. Do not harden your heart when you hear My voice, instead receive what I have to say with thanksgiving.

Application: What will I do about it?

Recording what God has been speaking allows me to remember and receive His word more easily. Today, as I hear the voice of the Spirit whether it’s a whisper or a yell, I will soak it up, face the music, enjoy the message and write it down. I will also teach others to do the same!

Prayer:

Holy God, We love Your voice. We want to hear from You. We ask You to soften our hearts and prepare our minds to receive and relay what You have to speak, in Jesus’ Name… Amen!

I Am Grateful For… for the opportunity to hear the voice of the Lord~
