Neal’s Lit Word

Title: “Get Certain”

Scripture: Hebrews 11:33,34

(These followers of God) By faith, conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Faith means “certainty.” When you have faith, you are certain that God's way and result is better than yours. By faith, you can face incredible circumstances and see victory through them. The circumstance you are in should force you to live by faith. Be thankful for circumstances that force you to live by faith.

Application: What will I do about it?

Through faith we can do things that without faith are impossible. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes through the Word. We should use the written word as a sharpening stone for us to hear the Lit Word that God speaks to our spirits through His Holy Spirit. A Lit Word is something the Spirit lights up in our minds that will show us our next right step.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, speak to us through Your Lit Word. We want to hear Your voice so we can overcome obstacles and challenges by faith. In Jesus Name, Amen.
