Title: “Needed Love”

Scripture: 1 John 4:7,8

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

My Child, the type of love I bring to you isn’t always the love you want, but it is always the love you need. What you want and what you need do not always align, but the result of getting what you need is far greater than getting what you want. I am your Father, I love you perfectly. I see every angle of your situation and am happy to bring you perfect love. Receive My love and give My love to the world around you. It may not be what they want but it is certainly what they need.

Application: What will I do about it?

Learning to love like Jesus, placing others' best interest above our own is something only God can help us do. Invite and receive His love today and ask for opportunities to give this sacred love to those around you.

Prayer:

Lord, we love because you first loved us. Help us to keep our eyes on You and look at the world around us through Your eyes. We want to love like you love us. In Jesus Name! Amen!
