Neal’s Lit Word

Title: “Fear Draws Faith”

Scripture: Proverbs 29:25

The fear of man brings a snare, but he who trusts in the Lord will be exalted.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

My child, for too long you have allowed what others think to be a sticking point for you. Do not fear what they say. Do not fear what they do. The devil uses the fear of man as a snare to keep you from your calling and destiny. Allow Me to remove your fear. Step fully into the gifts and doorways I open for you. Do not pay the onlookers any mind. Do what you see Me doing and say what you hear Me saying. This will cause your fear to die and your passions to find their purpose.

Application: What will I do about it?

Write a list of inhibitions, pitfalls and plans that you do not step into due to the fear of people. Then give that list to God and release your inhibitions. Take an active step today to step out in faith and watch your fears subside.

Prayer:

Jesus, You stepped out into a world that would ultimately reject and hate You. Yet, You went anyway! In Your faith, You changed the world forever and made a way for many to experience heaven both now and forever. Today, help me to be bold in faith like You are. Amen!
