Neal’s Lit Word

Title: “Breathtaking”

Scripture: Matthew 25:31

But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Don’t forget what is coming. It looked like I was defeated when I was nailed to the cross, but what the devil thought was My defeat turned out to be victory. I am coming to the rescue of those who place their hope in Me.

Application: What will I do about it?

Imagine what this moment will look and feel like. Breathtaking, paralyzing, eye opening, majestic and marvelous, when the Son of God is seated on His glorious throne with angels gathered around. Imagine the fear, respect and reverence that would be given in that moment. Give that reverence today, as purely as you know how to.

Prayer:

Holy God, You will reign forever, You hold all power and all authority in heaven and earth. I stand before You today, gazing at this moment of You seated on the throne, high and lifted up, and I stand in awe!

I Am Grateful For… a Holy Loving God
