Title: “Repentance Reward”

Scripture: Mark 6:12,13

And they went out and preached that men should repent. And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many sick people and healing them.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Repentance is part of healing and well being. Repentance has never been a “popular message.” It may not be popular, but it is powerful. Through repentance we find rest for our souls. Repentance opens the doors for healing at degrees that are heavenly. Through repentance, minds that were messed up get made right, bodies that were sick find wellbeing once again. Heaven opens up to the repentant heart. Without repentance there is no forgiveness of sin. Without forgiveness of sin there is no connection with God. Repentance isn’t a popular message because people are blinded to the power it unlocks. Satan wants us to stay stuck in the struggle of striving to make ourselves right with God. Repentance is the first ingredient in the recipe that opens up a relationship with God. Repentance has a great reward.

Application: What will I do about it?

Stay in a place of communion and communication with the Holy Spirit through repentance. Turn from doing it on your own and trying to figure everything out and allow God to help you through walking through the heavenly doorway of repentance each and every day.

Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for your sacrifice that opened up the doorway to relationship with the Creator of the heavens and earth. As I walk through the doorway of repentance, cause joy from above to invade my heart and mind on earth below. In Your name I pray!
