Neal’s Lit Word

Title: “Released Imagination”

Scripture: Psalm 48:9,13,14

We have thought on Thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of Thy temple. Consider her ramparts; Go through her palaces; That you may tell it to the next generation. For such is God, our God forever and ever; He will guide us until death.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Your mind that is renewed by My Spirit, awake and alive in Me has the ability to see. Use your imagination to direct your thoughts toward Me. Use your mind to connect deeply with Me. Set your mind on Me. Use scripture to direct your attention. Allow Me to take you on a journey of reformation from wandering aimlessly in your mind and life, to being directed intentionally by My Spirit. Through this, I will guide you all the way to heaven.

Application: What will I do about it?

Use moments of meditation to connect deeply with the Holy Spirit. Ask Him to lead your mind through mental pathways of heavenly spaces and invite Him to bring that reality to your life here on earth.

Prayer:

Holy God, enable my human mind to connect deeply with You through the imagination You have given me. Release my mind to imagine like never before. In Jesus’ Name… Amen!
