Neal’s Lit Word

Title: “Strength for the Struggle”

Scripture: Joshua 14:11,9

I am still as strong today as I was on the day Moses sent me; as my strength was then, so my strength is now, for war and for going out and coming in. – 9 because you have followed the Lord my God fully.’

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Like Caleb, I can preserve your strength. If you too follow the Lord fully, you can retain your strength to a much greater extent than being a half hearted, partially devoted follower of the Lord your God. Go ALL IN with your commitment. Now that you have discovered My faithfulness and sincerity of support for you, there is no excuse to be half hearted toward Me. I am more than your best choice, I am your fully committed Friend, Savior and Leader.

Application: What will I do about it?

God gives us all of Himself and doesn’t leave us unsupported. Today, let’s make a choice to be ALL IN toward Him by placing full trust and confidence in all that He says about us. We are His children, He loves us and will always lead us down the path that He has designed for us.

Prayer:

Lord, with sincere gratitude I come to You, thankful for never leaving me, but also for always training me to trust. Your faithfulness is never failing. I place full confidence in You, train me and strengthen Me, You won’t lead Me into a war we won’t win. Amen!

I Am Grateful For… guidance, support and strength from God
