Title: “Traveling Companion”

Scripture: Psalm 86:11,12

11 Teach me Your way, O Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name.
12 I will give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
And will glorify Your name forever.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

When the cry of your heart is aligned with the heart of this psalmist, in total sincerity and devotion, I will answer your call. Even when you battle with doubt and sin, it won’t keep Me from coming to you with strength and support. Grace and mercy are what you find when you come running to Me.
I desire to teach you, I want to help you walk in My truth. I will unite your heart with what is good and right as you sincerely seek Me. I will not only show you My ways, I will teach you to walk in them.

Application: What will I do about it?

Cry out from within your heart. Cry out with your actual voice. Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find. Doors of devotion are opening and you will receive all that you need to walk the path I point out to you. You will not walk the path alone, I will be your Traveling Companion. I will be your Tour Guide and will talk with you along the way.

Prayer:

Jesus, I am so grateful for Your Holy Spirit. You are the great God who guides me down paths of righteousness for Your name's sake. I am called by Your name, therefore I won’t fear being forgotten on the way. Amen!
