Neal’s Lit Word

Title: “Valiant Warrior”

Scripture: Judges 6:12,34

12 The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him, “The Lord is with you, O valiant warrior.” 34 So the Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon; and he blew a trumpet, and the Abiezrites were called together to follow him.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

You are who I say you are. You can be what I say you can be. Gideon did not see himself as a “valiant warrior” but that is what I saw Gideon to be. My presence will enable and release you to step into what I have said about you. Then you can fulfill the plans I have made for you. Through My presence you too can rise like Gideon as a valiant warrior who walks in My sacred presence.

Application: What will I do about it?

Gideon listened to what the Lord had to say. He also confirmed what the Lord said through signs. We must do the same when it comes to walking in the certainty of our callings. Seek the Lord, hear His voice, respond in faith once you have the confirmation of your all and direction. Go in the confidence of the presence of the Lord.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, You are my confidence. Enable faith to rise to fulfill your calling on our lives. Today we choose to stand in what you have called us to do. Like Gideon and Joshua, we will be strong, courageous and not fearful. In Jesus’ name! Amen

I Am Grateful For… confidence to stand as a warrior with Christ.
