Title: “The Right to Become”

Scripture: John 1:12,13

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

The right to become children of God belongs to those who receive new birth from the Spirit of God. You are empowered to become royalty in the heavens through being born of God. Naturally, you attempt to reach this position through means that cannot get you there. Nothing of this world can get you there, only something greater than this world and out of this world has the power to get you there. If you want to get there, to become all you were meant to be, you must connect to Me, walk with Me and allow Me to lead you to who you are called to become.

Application: What will I do about it?

The starting point is being born of God, the end result of living daily as a child of God is becoming all He created us to be. Not by human might or by human power, but by the Holy Spirit. Connect, Receive, Renew, Remain.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, Your gift is greater than anything I can imagine. You are the gift that keeps on giving. With you is limitless potential. Without You, we can only become what we can imagine, with You we become more than we can imagine. Amen!

I Am Grateful For… the ability to get there and become who He created us to be.
