Neal’s Lit Word

Title: “No Excuses”

Scripture: Psalm 78:72

So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them with his skillful hands.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

People are like sheep without a shepherd. I have desired to guide them and them to the good land I have promised but men and women have laid down in weakness overindulging in the comforts of the land. It's time for men and women to step into the fullness of what it means to follow Me and fight back against the dysfunction of this present darkness that seeks to steal their souls and the souls of the children all across the land. Are there any that will step up to the call and step out of darkness and obscurity to follow Me with all their heart, soul, mind and strength?

Application: What will I do about it?

With all the integrity of my heart, with all the skillfulness that God has placed in my hands, I will shepherd and guide what I’m responsible for.
First, that begins with me. Second, my family. Third, all the people God has placed around me to shepherd, near and far.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, apart from You I can do nothing that is lasting, with You I can climb any mountain, scale any wall, overcome any obstacle, tackle any task. Jesus, I fix my eyes on You, from You alone I gather strength. Amen

I Am Grateful For… strength from the Good Shepherd, to shepherd.

Tracker Questions

Write a quick list of all the excuses you have for not stepping up and doing what you are called to do. (write it on physical paper)

Now light that list on fire. Literally, burn the list. It’s time to eliminate excuses and step into calling.
