Neal’s Lit Word

Title: “Battle Testing”

Scripture: Psalm 144:1

Blessed be the Lord, my rock,
Who trains my hands for war,
And my fingers for battle;

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Rescue, blessing and prosperity are a gift from God. Though I can pluck you out of any situation and plant you in a prosperous land I rarely do instantly. You are in a training process. Each stage of the training is designed to help you respect and retain the blessing I freely give you.

I won’t plant you in a prosperous land if you are unable to respect and retain the land where you have been planted. To get you ready for this kind of blessing, the kind that is passed down from generation to generation you need to be trained for war.

You are trained through the trials and tribulations that stand in your way each day. Rather than viewing them with dark eyes, view each circumstance as an opportunity to grow your skills through battle. You are being battle tested. Pass the testing, receive the blessing!

Application: What will I do about it?

Identify the battle you are being tested with in this season. Write down in your Tracker Journal the specific action steps you need to take to pass the test. Take the next right step with the light you’ve been given. You are not asked to walk into any place that God is not lighting the way.

Prayer:

Lord, help us approach our day with a different perspective. One that sees the situations of the day as an opportunity to be trained to respect and retain the blessing and prosperity of the land You are leading us. Amen
