Title: “Dusty Trust”

Scripture: Proverbs 18:2

A fool does not delight in understanding, but only in revealing his own mind.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Do not lean on your own understanding. I repeat!

A person who freely “reveals their mind” is someone who can’t shut their mouth. A person who can’t shut their mouth is someone who really thinks they have something to say.

YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SAY!

When you submit to Me, acknowledge Me and DO NOT lean on your own understanding… not only will I make your path straight but I will also renew your mind.

Human understanding harms the hearer.
Heaven's understanding heals the harm.

Delight in the Lord and He will give you heavenly understanding so that when you open your mouth and reveal your mind, it will be the mind of Christ.

Application: What will I do about it?

Dwell / Meditate on how big God is. Think about the fastness of the universe and the depths of the ocean. Consider that you are a simple spec of dust in His creation. A tiny speck on the timeline of life, a speck of dust on the weight of His scale. Dwell on the fact that dust cannot have understanding apart from its Creator. Write down your thoughts in your Tracker Journal.

Prayer:

Jesus, You modeled connection to Your Father, the Creator. You revealed how to humbly submit your body, soul and Spirit to the Creator of all things.
Show us how You did it Lord. We want to be like You! Amen
