Neal’s Lit Word

Title: “Constant Contact”

Scripture: Psalm 2:1,2

1 Why are the nations in an uproar
And the people devising a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth take their stand
And the rulers take counsel together
Against the Lord and against His Anointed.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Do you see the result of the nations being in an uproar right now?
Why do you think this is happening? The uproar is a result of Godlessness. Many nations have turned their backs to Me. They claim to know Me with their mouths but reject Me with their ways. They say, “We know Him. We are God’s people, faithful followers of the Way.” But the truth is, they have not known Me or My ways. The leaders of the nations take their stand against Me and against those I have chosen to represent Me.

You do not have to drift into the place where those that are against Me stand. Stay out of their circles by proving yourself faithful to following Me. I know your heart, the good, bad and indifferent. Place Me in the highest seat both in your mind and in what you practice. Your way is not only what you say, it is also what you practice and hold in the highest regard.

Application: What will I do about it?

Practice makes perfect. Each day spend intentional time with Jesus by attempting to consciously stand in His presence. Imagine Him walking and talking with you everywhere you go and in everything you do. Go to Him for guidance and conversation as the closest person you confide in. Never leave conversation with Him. The more you practice this consciously, the more you will practice subconsciously, without having to think about it.

Prayer:

Lord, I want to live in continual communion with You. All wisdom and knowledge is found in You. Every right path is known by You, the same as every wrong path. Speak Lord, Your servant really wants to hear. Amen.
