Title: “Hilarious Generosity”

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:8

Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything for every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.

Observation: What is God saying to me?
I love it when you are so generous it almost seems silly! Hilarious generosity pleases My heart. Why? I have given to you so that you can give to others. You have more to give than you realize. When you freely give what you have been given then you open up My storehouses over your life. I look for generous people that I can bless because I know those generous people will spread the blessing. Stingy people keep things for themselves. I don’t give more to stingy children, I give more to generous children.

Application: What will I do about it?
Today we must look for ways to bless others with what we have been given. I declare this over us today. We are generous with all of our gifts, money, time, talents and treasures! When opportunity arises to give hilariously… take the opportunity!

Prayer:
Father, thank you for giving so much to us. You hold nothing back from generous people. You bless us beyond measure as we look to bless others. Cause our hearts to crave generosity, in Jesus’ name!
