LIT TITLE: Called Out

LIT VERSE: 1 Peter 2:9-11 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness and into His marvelous light. For you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God, you had not received mercy, but now have received mercy. I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts, which wage war against your soul.

THOUGHT BREAKDOWN:

I have been called OUT so I can enter IN!
It would be ridiculous to enter the beautiful land of light and then willfully leave it to go back to the darkness where there is depression and despair. I have been called and chosen, therefore I will lice as being called and chosen. I will love the light so I choose to stay there.

WHAT IS THE SPIRIT SAYING?

Live into your calling. It is clear, it is good, it is light and easy. You are My child, you are chosen, you are a king and a priest in my kingdom. Do not enter into the darkness, it’s so degrading to your calling.

WHAT WILL I DO ABOUT IT?

I will ask the Spirit to guide me in the enjoyment of the land of the light.
I will reject the acts of darkness that bring a war to my soul.

I AM GRATEFUL FOR… calling, choosing, and light.
