Title: Transfer of Power

Scripture: Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. He gives strength to the weary and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not be weary they will walk and not get tired.

Observation: What is God saying to me?
Hahaha… It’s like God is saying somewhat sarcastically, “Do you really not know yet, have you really not heard?” I want to transfer my strength to you, all you have to do is wait on Me. I don’t get tired, I’m not having a hard day! What I need you to do is wait on me while I transfer My power and strength to you. If not, you can go ahead and keep trying to do it yourself.” (haha)

Application: What will I do about it?
To think that the Maker of the heavens and earth wants to transfer strength to me so that I can run in supernatural power is astounding! It would be absurd to reject this strength transfer. I guess the question comes down to this.

How do I wait on the Lord? I can’t just sit on my hands all day, there is too much to do!! That’s not what it means to wait!

Today I will wait on the Lord by “resting my heart” in His care. I will set up my interior world to deeply trust that God is for Me and His words are true. His plans for me and my family are for good, therefore because I trust deeply in Him, good is the result that is coming. Waiting today, looks like rest and trust in my heart, even while my hands are still working.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for giving me strength. You have called me to mount up on eagle wings. You have called me to run and not grow weary. Thank you for teaching me to wait on You. Help Me to live in the power you freely give and to help others do the same. In Jesus Name. Amen

I Am Grateful For… a transfer of power while I rest, trust and wait.
